Being blind as a kid
I have some blind friends, and I used to be astonished how well they managed. One of them lives outside Paris with his wife an 2 children (and a guide dog) when he comes over, you could barely know he is blind if you did not know.

A late pardon
It's been 80 years since nine innocent black teenagers, ranging in age
from 13 to 19, were falsely accused of raping two white women. This
week, the last of their convictions were finally pardoned.
